About Cyndy Kelso
My name is Cyndy Kelso. Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Anything to do with cats, horses, wildlife and the western landscape has been my passion to paint.
I frequently travel across the west, taking photos for reference or to paint plein air. Photos capture the beautiful scenery so I can return to my studio to create works of art.
Recently I started painting on ceramic pieces and this has become another fun outlet to express my creativity. I have won numerous awards in gallery and county art shows in both California and Nevada. My works have been displayed in several galleries, wineries, upscale lodging establishments, and even at special events like horse shows and rodeos. I have also contributed to many worthwhile causes, seeing my artwork auction for hundreds of dollars each.
I like to teach art to others who want to learn new skills and techniques, or to people who have never painted before. It's a joy to watch someone get excited about art as much as I am. Cyndy Kelso Art is the culmination of over 4 decades of dedication to creating beautiful works of art in many mediums.
