Acrylic
Acrylic paints can be an easy medium to use if you are a beginner. Using a color palette, you decide which colors to place onto your palette, to transfer into (onto?) your canvas. You can start with easy linear or geometric shapes, and gradually progress to more uniquely inspired shapes. At the same time, you will naturally progress to blending colors on your palette, to mix 'just the right color' to give depth and impression to your art. Of course, this doesn't come overnight. With years of studying, practicing, and dozens (if not hundreds) of paintings later (and techniques mastered) you can be an artist too.
I have spent decades studying different painting mediums, styles, and subjects. Many of my earlier works were in acrylic (or oil) of my favorite subject at the time; horses. Alas, most of those paintings have been exhibited and sold to horse fanciers around the world. (Maybe someday I will post old photos of some of them). In the meantime, I hope you will enjoy my newest creations. Many of these are personal and not for sale, but I thought you may get an idea of what can be accomplished using acrylic paints.
